Although it should be stressed, the EWG does not encourage people from cutting these fruit and vegetables from their diet, but to buy organic versions whenever possible.

Research has found that, thanks to organic livestock’s natural, grass-based diet, the food produced such as dairy products and meat, contain around 50% more beneficial omega-3 fatty acids than non-organic.

In addition, crops such as cereals, fruit and vegetables, were found with almost 70% more antioxidants when organically grown.

Working in harmony with nature and reducing the chemicals going into people’s bodies are very good reasons to opt for organic.
