Singer and songwriter DeAndria

As for many artists there comes a struggle to find themselves. Sometimes it may be musical style, creativity, even down to the type of clothing. For this artist it was all of that and more.
DeAndria “Dria” Stallings was born in Saint Louis MO, into a musical family. Dria was always surrounded by great music. What stood out to her the most was R&B and Gospel.

Around the house, Dria and her twin sister always sang and harmonized together. They sang so much that at the age of 7 they joined the youth choir at their church. From then on Dria started to really work on her craft. Dria’s influences are Rachelle Ferrell, Anita Baker, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Aaliyah, Brandy and Monica. With her rich tone, so soft and mellow, Dria was determined to get better and better.

Just a few months out of high school Dria, created her own little buzz on YouTube. Attracting a lot of people and getting a lot views. She never expected to get as many views as she did. She kept on singing and shortly after retired from making videos to work more on her craft.

Seven years later Dria set off to find some local producers to work with. She hooked up with local producer Dre Martie and songwriter Redd da Killer Bee. They bonded instantly, so instantly that they created a slamming track titled “Make Me Say (Oooh Na Na Na Na)” in just 20 minutes on New Year’s Eve. The track will be Dria’s first single to drop this spring. She will also be dropping a few more singles in the summer and late fall, leading up to her debut album. With her unique tone and creativity, Dria is one to look out for.
