The style is ethnic, urban nomad just perfect for any summer destination.
Most of you know by now that I love to travel, especially to exotic destinations. I prefer to wear comfortable clothes not synthetic but it has to be fashionable at the same time. When I came across Antila Clothing it obviously caught my eye immediately, I love the attention to details combined with their fair trade philosophy. The style is ethnic, urban nomad just perfect for any summer destination.
In their designs they use details like tassels, sequins, trims, ties gathers, embroidery, frills and double hems. The luxurious fabrics like linen and silk and quality cotton that they use from India, Cambodia and China makes it durable, sustainable fashion. The colors are subtle, earth tones and the prints vary from traditional floral, paisley and plaid designs.
Being aware of bad labor conditions from a lot of clothing labels made me think not only about a great design and style but also if what I wear actually betters others too. Antila Clothing is very committed to the practice and principles of fair trade, a safe and healthy work place and fair and appropriate pay. Their workplace is based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
One of my favorite items from the collection is the smoke black linen dress with embroidery with side pockets. The armholes are deep, perfect for a hot summer day! Another must have from their resort wear collection is the grey cotton lace top with matching grey tassel ties at the neck. I love the incredible details in this design. A couple of basics in my closet combined with their resort wear makes a perfect combination.
