What do you like most about your profession?
Making music as a band is a creative vent–a place to express ourselves musically and to let the everyday stresses melt away. Time flies during rehearsals and we have endless amounts of energy when we’re working and playing together.

Where does your inspiration comes from?

Our influences are varied and come from genres of classic rock like The Rolling Stones and U2, as well as more recent folk rock bands like Mumford and Sons and Walk Off The Earth.

What song of yours are you most proud of?
To date we are most proud of our weekly YouTube cover series that brings us together to create a song that we’ve never played before together and turn it into a full on music video in one session–we’re proud of this series now in its 58th week, that’s growing weekly to about 10K views per video now.

What is the formula for success in the music industry?
The formula for success in today’s music industry is bringing your own fan base to the table. You have to continue to create content and build an online presence to be noticed. From garage jam, to YouTube hit series, we’ve come a long way in one short year and the sky is the limit for Toronto-based Across The Board.
