Tell us about yourself and what you do
My name is Reese De Luca and I am the creative director and designer for DE LA COMMUNE, a mens lifestyle loungewear brand.

Who has inspired you in your life and why?
Victoria Beckham is a great inspiration to me. She also struggled with bullying and she was someone positive I could look up to. She’s so creative and has grown her fashion brand tremendously.

What is your greatest achievement so far?
My greatest achievement so far is my new brand DE LA COMMUNE. My partner Daniel and I worked so hard at putting together a comfortable and well designed collection.

What sets DE LA COMMUNE apart from the competitors?
We’re not a massive company pumping out product. Everything that I design has meaning and I really think about how and where it’s going to be worn. Comfort is so important to me and everything is designed with that in mind. Having worked in fashion for many years, it was really important for me to make all of our clothing in Los Angeles, which is like a second home to me.

Do you have any tips for our readers that are trying to break in the industry?
It takes a lot of hard work to break into the fashion industry. The end product may appear glamorous but behind every beautiful garment or photo is hours of hard work.
