Interview with Nature’s Time

Nature’s Time not only represent nature, but it also represents our much needed time to see change.
Tell us about your watch brand
I’ve always envisioned creating a product for the purpose of starting more than just a brand. I wanted to start a movement that connects consumers to the seriousness of bullying. As a kid, I was constantly bullied both at home and school and I found nature to be my escape.
Thus, Nature’s Time was formed. Nature’s Time not only represent nature, but it also represents our much needed time to see change. I decided to design the products using bamboo, zebrawood and sandalwood because these materials literally represent strength (or durability) and beauty.

What inspired you to collaborate with Free2luv?
I was highly selective with who I wanted to partner with especially because I wanted the charity to have personal meaning for myself. Furthermore, I wanted to make sure that the charity effectively practices what was preached. I first met Tonya Sandis, Free2Luv’s CEO, over the phone, and found her to be an exemplary model of kindness who truly dedicates her time and effort into building a successful anti-bullying campaign.

Free2Luv has a ‘Friends Don’t Let Friends Bully’ program that utilizes art and entertainment to promote kindness and build self-esteem, while giving youth the strength that they need to stand up to bullying. With the support of celebrity ambassadors, youth advocates, and corporate alliances, their awareness campaigns make our communities safer for children who feel they don’t belong.

When I was constantly bullied in my childhood years, I truly felt worthless and the thought of committing suicide never left me.
Why do you think it’s important to bring more awareness to anti-bullying?
Because bullying can leave emotional scars that last a lifetime. When I was constantly bullied in my childhood years, I truly felt worthless and the thought of committing suicide never left me. It was the scariest time in my life, especially because I was so vulnerable. The effects of bullying have serious consequences and we need to get this point across to everyone out there, especially to parents and those who are bullying others.Where can our readers find you online?
