Interview with music artist Diana Sophia

music artist

I think music is a powerful gift which can be used to connect with people’s hearts and minds.

I had the privilege to interview Diana Sophia. She is a classically trained singer/songwriter creating music out of Brooklyn, New York. She was born and raised in Mexico where she discovered music at a very young age. Diana was selected during a national audition to be an active member of the Mexico City Opera House “Palacio de Bellas Artes” where she sang as first soprano for almost 7 years as part of the choir. She moved to New York City in 2008 looking for a change.

Currently, she is exploring pop-rock music and collaborating in diverse projects. She has completed her first EP with Brooklyn based music producer Rob Guariglia. It tells Diana’s story in beautiful images and words; her feelings of being trapped and finally taking the long journey to New York City to pursue a career making music and art she loves. You can find out more about Diana Sophia and purchase her two singles, “Shine” and “Runaway”, here: http://www.dianasophia.com
