What inspired you to start your brand/business?
I started my business because I truly had a problem to solve. While on the train going to work, I had my laptop bag, another bag, a travel mug and my phone. I needed to reply to some emails while on the train with all that stuff but without enough hands to hold it all AND keep my phone in my hand for use. I thought that there had to be a way to safely hold my device and use it with one hand. I looked around at the rest of the people on the train and everyone had the same issue – needing two hands to hold and use their phone. I went home and built a basic prototype…and when I realized that this was a problem that many people have, I knew that I was on the path to something.
I come from a long history of entrepreneurs but have spent my career in large corporate organizations. I loved the idea of making a product that would really help people. And I truly love it when people write to me with feedback about how much they rely on Maxxable or never realized how much they needed something

What is the brand’s philosophy?
We want to solve people’s everyday problems with unexpected solutions and practicality. Trying to use a phone with a cracked screen is a common problem for many people. Although you can try and work around it, it is a relief when you don’t have to. Maxxable is rooted in the philosophy of adding value to everyday life, not being overly complicated or requiring too much effort.
What has been your greatest achievement so far?
Thus far, the biggest achievement has been getting my idea into production and having it patented. This is a challenging but necessary process in order to protect the integrity of my idea.
