Interview with Lakesha CEO and founder of She Swank

I’m always looking to achieve more tomorrow than I did today and I’m always striving to improve as a mom, wife and business owner.

What inspired you to start your business?
After giving birth to my daughter Kailey, I became obsessed with buying dresses for her but wanted classic trend-proof styles with a modern twist. As she got older, introducing Kailey to entrepreneurship in a way that was fun and teachable for a 5-year-old became equally important…. and so necessity became the mother of She Swank | Too!

What is the brand’s philosophy?
We believe fashion should be fun, personable and practical—and it should be available and affordable for everyone.

What has been your greatest achievement so far?
I feel like my biggest achievement has yet to come. I’m always looking to achieve more tomorrow than I did today and I’m always striving to improve as a mom, wife and business owner.
