What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my business because I love the aspect of individuality that fashion affords. The people of today don’t like to be boxed in or trapped by certain style guidelines. People want their clothes to express who they are inside and not the other way around. While we do follow certain trends, we like to take them and personalize them as our own and I wanted to create a space where I could provide unique, boutique fashion accessories at a great price for every kind of girl.

What is the brand’s philosophy?
LABELLS Boutique encourages expression of self and was created to inspire individuality. Many brands try to persuade you to wear their labels and promote their company but LABELLS Boutique is interested in something much more profound. We aim to take the stereotypes placed upon people and erase them completely. Our goal is to give our customers the tools to personalize their own style with unique jewelry and accessories that not every girl can get her hands on (you won’t find our pieces at the mall). Whether you are a sexy girl, club girl, boho girl, beauty girl, or nail girl, we’ve got you covered. We want our customers to be that girl in the group who is always asked, “Where did you get that from?”

What has been your greatest achievement so far?
My greatest achievement thus far has been to stay relevant in the fashion industry. I started out modeling and then I went on to do hair and makeup for fashion shoots. I soon found myself as the photographer. I’m internationally and domestically published as a photographer and avante-garde hair stylist and makeup artist. I absolutely love the fashion industry and I will never let it go.
