Interview with Jean-Marc Le Doux filmmaker and president of IndieRabbit

Building the site was huge, but I’m particularly proud of the incredible films we’ve gotten from remarkable filmmakers.

How did you come up with the idea for your business/product?
I was an independent filmmaker, and among other things, I made a short film entitled “The Save” that went to 13 film festivals and won 6 awards. After my short, I wanted to make a feature film, but after seeing many of my filmmaker friends struggle to get their feature films out there, I thought there had to be a better way than Netflix, Vimeo, or iTunes for indie filmmakers and fans to connect and share movies. That idea became IndieRabbit, the only site where any user can share movies and earn cash! Watch here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7Qu_0l7k-I

What is your mission?
Our mission is threefold: 1) to help up-and-coming filmmakers, 2) to reward those hard-working fans who share films they love, 3) to share great films that make the world a better place.

What has been your greatest achievement so far?
As for accomplishments, building the site was huge, but I’m particularly proud of the incredible films we’ve gotten from remarkable filmmakers.

What’s your best advice for other tech entrepreneurs who are starting a business?
Advice for other tech entrepreneurs? As Journey says, “Don’t stop believin’.”
