What inspired you to start your brand/business?
In the summer of 2008 our CEO, Andreu Fernández, was in Shanghai, travelling for pleasure. At that moment he was about to start working in a company of strategic consulting and he needed a few elegant suits to dress at the office. In Shanghai, he found a good quality product at a very reasonable price. With this discovery, he looked for a way to continue to buy those clothes directly from Europe. One thing led to another, and when he came back home he had already created a business plan for the development of a new tailor made clothing online business. Two months and a couple of trips to China later, Hockerty was launched in Spain.

What is the brand’s philosophy?

Basically, we think that people should have the possibility to create the style that fits them best with a good quality and at an affordable price and receive it at home in 2 weeks. The range of our materials goes from Australian Merino Wool, which gives a mark of excellence to our fabric collection, to cotton, linen and blended fabrics, if you are looking for more informal clothing.

What has been your greatest achievement so far?
Tailor4Less allows international designers to create their own collection, we started collaborating with Martin Waschbär, Leandro Cano, Julie Bourgeois, Mark & Julia, Director’s Cut, Jenny Gretve and Todd Hallman among others. Participating in this joint project, they created new collections shaped on the personal style of each one of them. We also launched a 3D configurator in order to allow our customers to see their creation by the way they are creating their garments.
