Interview with hiphop artist Red-Stuy

My biggest inspiration in life has always been my grandparents. They was the ones who always knew that I could be more than the average “knucklehead” even tho I didn’t see it.

Tell us about yourself and what you do
Well as you know my name is Red-Stuy a well matured Hip-Hop artist out of Brooklyn, Ny Born and Raised. When I started rapping back when I was 15 years old I went by the Stage Name Heron T.C.O. (The Chozen One). A dude I met in college who goes by the name of 800 who I worked with during the time suggested that I changed the name due to the name being used by a list of other up and coming artist. I agreed and Red-Stuy was born.

Who has inspired you in your life and why?
My biggest inspiration in life has always been my grandparents. They was the ones who always knew that I could be more than the average “knucklehead” even tho I didn’t see it. As I mature I rely on the little things they taught me growing up.

What is your greatest achievement so far?
Basically beyond being a Dad I say my greatest Achievement Musically is the first Volume of the “Hold That” Mixtape Series that I recently released. You can go download that here: https://red-stuy.bandcamp.com/album/hold-that-the-mixtape

Do you have any tips for our readers that are trying to break in the industry?
Stay Humble, Stay Consistent and always believe in your craft even if no one else do. Also be your biggest critic. If your work don’t satisfy you 9 out of 10 times it wont satisfy the next individual.
