Interview with Daniel Keppler founder and ceo of Ejoni

I’ve always had a creative streak. I’m always drawing, doodling and scribbling out designs, whether I have a spare hour at work, on the bus or even at home, it really is a passion of mine.

daniel_keppler_01Tell us about yourself and what you do
I’m a logo and website designer at Ejoni. I basically help people build a website that they can be proud of, as well as helping them find the right logo and graphic for their company.

Who has inspired you in your life and why?
I’ve always had a creative streak. I’m always drawing, doodling and scribbling out designs, whether I have a spare hour at work, on the bus or even at home, it really is a passion of mine. What drove me to web and graphic design however was the fact that it really interested me, creating a design that actually helps other people build their company or business from the ground up. All of a sudden, I realized that my designs didn’t just have to be scribbled on a piece of paper and they didn’t need to be thrown away every time I got a new notebook. They could actually be used for something, a legacy if you will, for both myself and business owners across the world. So my inspiration really does come from the things I love best, challenges and creativity.

What is your greatest achievement so far?
I have to say that my greatest achievement is securing a place at my current place of work. These really are professionals, and I have to admit that I did feel like a small fish in a big pond to begin with! I love working with the guys here, they know what they are doing and they have helped me refine my own skills as a professional. We’re basically one happy family, so it is really easy to work together to find the right result for the client because we always know what the other person is thinking, so to speak!

Do you have any hints or tips for any readers that are trying to break in the industry?
Yeah, I suppose I do. Just keep following your dream and do what you do best, get in touch with local companies and do everything you can to refine your skills. Anything is possible when you put your mind too it! You can find me at www.ejoni.com.
