How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Buy the Best Drone was started as a way to help young and aspiring pilots. People were going out and buying expensive drones with no idea how to fly them. They would drop thousands on a piece of equipment they had no idea how to use and destroy it within a few days. Ultimately our business is a resource to new and experienced pilots.

Our mission is to promote safe drone usage and education. We hate to see people and news outlets berating drone users because of their poor flight decisions. The more educated and intelligent we can become as a community, the better off we will be. There is a ton of opposition to the entire industry right now. We’re working hard to appease the tension between pilots and those that want to shut us down.
What has been your greatest achievement so far?
So far we have provided hundreds of businesses with the advice and information necessary to operate drones commercially. Businesses must receive an FAA exemption to be able to fly in the United States. We have provided a number of businesses with guidance and education to do so.
What’s your best advice for other tech entrepreneurs who are starting a business?
Follow your heart and listen to it. If you think you can do something, you should. The space is crowded and people out there are doing great things everywhere. Just because others are out there doing something doesn’t mean there isn’t space for you as well.
