Interview with artist Alex Genadinik

“Throughout my life, I’ve been inspired by music that features heartfelt lyrics and melodies that reinforce and amplify those lyrics.”

Tell us about yourself and what you do
My name is Alex Genadinik. I work in two different industries. My main job is in Elearning. I create sell online courses. In fact, I am a top 1% instructor on Udemy. The second industry in which I am active is music. I am a singer-songwriter. My music website is https://www.touchedbyasong.com

Who has inspired you in your life and why?

Throughout my life, I’ve been inspired by music that features heartfelt lyrics and melodies that reinforce and amplify those lyrics. Such music has an effect of taking the listener to a different world and inspire. It certainly does that to me. It’s very enriching and I don’t know where I would be without music in my life. In fact, the reason I make my own music is that I want to create something similarly beautiful for others just like other artists have done for me.

What is your greatest achievement so far?

Regarding my greatest achievement so far, I’ve achieved more in Elearning space than I have with my music. In Elearning, I am truly a top 1% professional in my industry, and I am widely known. In fact, I not only create my courses, but also help other online course companies get started. For example, companies often buy my online courses to resell on their own websites. Here is an example service that I offer: https://www.problemio.com/udemy/buy-online-courses-to-resell.php

I not only sell my courses, but also create entire white label online course platforms for small businesses: https://www.problemio.com/elearning/white-label-online-course-platform.php

I am very proud of this accomplishment because it didn’t come easy for me. I had to spend years in the online course industry before I was able to get ahead in it.

Do you have any tips for our readers that are trying to break in the industry?

Regarding tips for breaking into the music industry, I am learning those tips myself. But in any industry, it takes patience, and getting past the initial unrealistic expectations. It takes years of grinding away until you notice that your weaknesses turned into strengths and you are better than just about anyone else in your industry. That’s been my path in Elearning, and I hope to make it my path in music.
