Whats special about our brand?
Well, we are an economically aware, British alternative clothing apparel, but we feel that what really makes us stand out, is our love for original and creative arts. Our designs are all hand drawn to keep that raw natural feel behind it and to move away from the digitalised and computer generated design world. We like to keep the passion behind it! We also hand print all our shirts making each design 100% original. We love this because everyone different in their own little way so why should we give you identical clothing?

We have always been motivated by eco-friendly ideas and we all agree that its the little things that count – (well really, saving the earth is a damn big thing really but you get what we mean!) So we feel that if we can show others that organic and alternative materials and eco-friendly inks doesn’t mean that they are cutting on quality or that only ‘hippies’ go green, maybe we can slowly help change the worlds view on Organics and being more eco-friendly/sustainable. We want to further get rid of the stereotypes/stigmas around buying eco-friendly products – so going more green is something that becoming more of a mass than a niche area.

One of the eco issues we are most passionate about are cottons, cotton manufacture is recognized as one of the most environmentally damaging industry and is produced in over 2/3 of our worlds developing countries. Cottons are so damaging due to such high use of poisonous pesticides and many more chemicals being used in the bleaching, dyeing and finishing processes. (up to 250ml of hazardous and toxic chemicals per shirt!!)

Obviously such extensive use of harmful chemicals being used to provide the world with nearly half of its populations clothing content, is really doing some damage – not just to the environment but poisoning of natural water sources, animals/livestock with destruction of habitats and not to mention the fumes and un-sanitary conditions for the workers themselves.

(Which we also support Fair Trade and equal rights and standards to workers including no forced/child labour, payments of living wage and other factors supported through the Fair Workers Foundation.)

We only supply 100% certified organic cottons garments which means that our cottons have been grown pesticide free and manufactured in environmentally friendly ways. So you have the reassurance that the clothing you wear isn’t supporting such a damaging trade. Our inks are all water-based too so they contain no harmful chemicals and need no chemicals in the cleaning process – just water!

Advice for other eco-friendly entrepreneurs out there?
Do your eco-research and know your eco-products, have a clear goal of what you want to change, keep positive and don’t give up..
