Interview: Fandsway

I grew up watching how my dad effectively and efficiently runs his business to bring foods to our table every day and that’s what really made me dreaming about opening up my own business.

shop2What inspired you to start your brand/business?
My biggest inspiration was my father who ran a professional women’s wholesale business for over 28 years in New York city. My father is a really passionate business man. He is almost 60 years old but he still travels once every two weeks to pretty much all over the place to find the best product for his customers. I grew up watching how he effectively and efficiently runs his business to bring foods to our table every day and that’s what really made me dreaming about opening up my own business. About two years ago, I had a great opportunity came up and started doing business with my older brother who also has over a decade of experience in women’s clothing production, design and distribution. We firstly opened up a small retail store in my town and ran it for about more than a year. I can’t really say I had a successful year in my whole business year but I’m still here and doing what I like to do the best.

What is the brand’s philosophy?
I’ve made a title of my business and it’s called ” Fandsway.com” The FandS is abbreviation for fair and square. I always want to run my business fair and square and sell the highest quality product at the best possible price so my customer never feel they overpaid for our clothing collection. Whenever we go to the market to research and purchase new products we never stop thinking about where do women go, what they wear for special occasions, comfortableness, fit, color, price and of course, the lastest trend at the time.
