What inspired you to start your brand/business?
I have many inspirations for starting Athar’a, an all natural, vegan, cruelty-free skincare line, but probably my biggest inspiration was my children. After I had children, I wanted to make sure my family lived a healthy lifestyle, I wanted to limit the amount of chemicals and toxins that touch our family and I realized there is really a lack of truly natural, pure, clean skincare products out there.
What is the brand’s philosophy?
Our philosophy is to provide consumers with all natural skincare products that are free of junk – no chemicals, no parabens, no toxins – just pure, plant based skincare products that are clean enough to eat (but not intended to be edible). We believe that what you put on your body is just as important as what you put in your body.
What has been your greatest achievement so far?
To be a certified and recognized as a Cruelty-Free skincare line – we are 100% vegan and do not test on animals.
