It is not enough to be satisfied with just what is in front of us. There is so much more that is unseen that needs tending and cultivating.
What is special about your business?
I am promoting responsible connections, in all forms. When our consciousness is raised, we find a deeper responsibility towards ourselves and an awareness of our surroundings and our community. A conscious citizen is one that knows she/he is part of a greater whole. As a psychic medium, I assist in positive changes to help the client go forward.
What motivated you to start your business?
I have always had this ability as a psychic medium, as I was born into it. I had other careers along the way, and did readings for people without ever accepting compensation. I finally embraced that I would broaden my community of people with whom I read, by focusing in on a business. Now that I do this full time, my client base has increased in such an exciting way. It has allowed me to work with more people than I ever thought possible.
What green issues are you most passionate about?
I am interested in the awareness of how our actions impact one another. It is not enough to be satisfied with just what is in front of us. There is so much more that is unseen that needs tending and cultivating. There is the future us that needs the responsible us now.
It all starts with how to connect, and how to communicate. It is very basic but is not easy sometimes. The raised consciousness and adjustments made on this road, means we are mindful of who and what is on the road with us.
What advice would you have for other aspiring social entrepreneurs?
As business owners, we have to be accountable for what it is we promote. We lead by example and that is really important. It sets up the standards right there.
It is very easy to get caught up in ‘doing good’, in providing services and promoting such noble causes that the business side can get lost.
It is a common problem of “light workers” (people who help others find light in their lives) to not allow the business side to flourish. The business side of it actually may enhance the work. It may surprise you how maintaining the business and boundaries is a constant reinforcement of your goals.
