Our planet earth has offered us many resources with which we have been able to satisfy our needs. If not for these resources, it would have been impossible to meet certain wants of ours. So when water is so useful and such an integral part of our lives, we should contribute towards saving water so that we are able to leave a better life in the years to come.
The term recycle is the one which show how new stuff could be created from the old stuff so that there is prevention of wastage. So can water be recycled? Well there is this project called as DUDWTFT which helps in saving water. In indoors we use lot of water in the bathroom and this is where the project gets its idea. Water recycle could be done with the help of DUDWTFT as it is a concept the idea of which lies in the way the water could be scooped up in a gallon bucket and then stored in to the big buckets next to the toilet. Water could be scooped with the help of a dust pan. So if we think then this is really a smart way to recycle water as we many not even realise how much water is being wasted in the bathroom. But what about the heavy porcelain tank cover? The answer to this lies in the concept of DUDWTFT.
With water occupying such a huge place in our lives and the scary natural disasters like drought nearly giving us nightmares, isn’t it better to conserve water. The most striking part of DUDWTFT is that not many efforts are required to save water. And also it provides an opportunity for every household to save water. DUDWTFT would actually work as a link between preserving and recycling water in your own home. It is from our bathroom that the most wasted water comes while we use potable water for flushing the toilets. For the tank lid of your toilet, DUDWTFT could work as a replacement. An access point is there in DUDWTFT which one can slide open and what is required is to pour recycled water from the shower of yours into the toilet’s tank. With this the tank could be filled with non-potable water thereby preventing the wastage of potable water. When potable water is use in toilets then its leads to huge amounts of wastage of water. By this concept you would be able to save the potable water.
DUDTWFT is an approach to change the way we use water. By using potable water in toilets we have developed a habit of wasting water.
