I enjoy my hobby which pays for itself, we make regular donations to Tearfund every month out of sales  and you end up with a lovely restored fountain pen at a great price.

I had the opportunity to interview City of London Pens. I’m excited to introduce them to you because they have an online store with a great collection of vintage pens, fountain pens, parker pens and many more. My favorite from their store is the vintage sterling silver ink bottle and ink pen. I love vintage pens and have a couple myself, it’s also great as a gift idea. Read the interview to find out more and check out their store if you are looking for a unique pen.

Tell us about City Of London Pens
My beloved hobby is collecting fountain pens. I also enjoy restoring old pens and in order to pay for all the polishes, waxes and tools required – and to make it easier for all concerned I am showcasing these on Ebay. When the pens are restored we try and sell them worldwide

What charity are you supporting with your store?
We make regular donations to Tearfund every month out of sales A fantastic charity I have supported privately and financially for many years. In modern terminology it is a Win – Win – Win situation. I enjoy my hobby which pays for itself, Tearfund gets a donation every month out of sales and you end up with a lovely restored fountain pen at a great price.

How do you restore the pens?
Each pen requires a combination of time and love. Fortunately I have plenty of both. The specialist polishes are very expensive, the equipment and tools are of a specialist nature. I offer a full refund if not delighted.
